Shipping, term and conditions

Information on how to pay for your purchase and how to order custom designs, shipping and returns policy.

Payments

All prices are in Australian dollars.

Payment is via Paypal, which you will be directed to at the checkout. I also have stripe available for credit card payments. If you do not have a paypal account and would like to pay by direct bank deposit please contact me before making your purchase.

Custom orders

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to commence orders and final payment is due before the item is shipped. For certain stones that are sourced Payment must be made upfront for stone cost.

Payment plans/laybuys

I am happy to negotiate payment plans for custom and ready made rings, please feel free to contact me regarding more information about this. If a payment plan is required for a ring advertised on the website you must contact me before purchasing.

Shipping and handling costs 

All shipping rates are calculated by Australia post please contact www.auspost.com.au if you would like more information about postage rates. Postage within Australia is via regular post, which has a tracking number available on request. Please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery.

International shipping charges are registered mail also with a tracking number, I am willing to discuss cheaper postage options that do not have tracking once the item has left Australia, this must be arranged before purchase of any item. Please allow 2-4 weeks for postage depending on the area you are located in see Australia post website for more details. Import taxes may apply to international orders, I am not responsible for this tax for more information please contact www.dutycalculator.com Items will be marked as a gift on the customs information form attached to your item.

Damaged  and stolen items

This is very rare that this happen, but if you have a lost, stolen or damaged piece contact Violet and Lion immediately. If the item has been lost or stolen a tracking number is available to help find out where your item is. I am not responsible for the handling of items once they have left my hands, all care is taken to package you pieces, if your item arrives damaged please contact me ASAP so I can amend the problem. All damaged items must be returned to Violet and Lion before any action will commence with fixing the problem. If the damage is due to a manufacturing error on my part, I will fix the item and cover cost of postage (the item must be posted back to Violet and Lion within 1 week of receiving). I am not responsible for postage on return of goods unless as stated above the fault was in manufacturing.

Sizing

Please size correctly I am not responsible for incorrect sizing, if you have received a ring that does not fit due to incorrectly sizing yourself you will not be refunded. If the fault is in manufacturing and you have been sent the wrong* size the item must be posted back within 1 week of receiving, your next item will not be shipped until the faulty item is returned in original condition (postage will be refunded to you if this is a fault of manufacturing) contact must be made asap if this has occurred.

*By wrong size this means if you ordered a size 8 for example and receive a 6 by mistake of wrong packaging or fault in making. This does not mean if you have sized yourself at a 10 and I have made the ring a 10 but your really an 8 and you have incorrectly sized yourself.

Manufacturing

Most items on the website are made to order unless they are one off items which are specified, please allow 2 weeks production time plus postage time. For custom orders you will be advised of a specific time frame once the final design has been agreed, please take this into consideration when buying items for an event or a gift. I am not responsible for incorrect spelling on stamped rings if you have given me the wrong spelling I will double check the spelling with you at time of order.

Out of my control

I am not responsible for circumstances outside of my control such as delayed delivery due to the postal service, holiday periods are busy times and packages may take longer than usual to be delivered

Refunds

There are no refunds available for change of mind, please take this into consideration when buying an item.

Acceptance of terms and conditions

Once you have finalised your purchase you have agreed to the terms and conditions stated above, if you do not agree with the terms and conditions please do not make a purchase.
